We will accept a 50% deposit on orders, with the remainder payable (1) week prior to your scheduled shipping or installation date. Q: Can I install my new sauna on my own or does it require professional installation? A: Most of our saunas can be installed in approx. 4-8 hours (depending on model) by two handy people and basic tools - drill / driver / soft mallet etc. (Times may vary). Hiring your own trusted professional is a great option. If installation is happening in Ontario, Canada we can provide on-site installation service for an additional cost - Contact for details.
Q: Does my Harvia, Tylo-Helo, Finnleo, Homecraft or HUUM electric heater need to be installed by a licensed electrician? A: Yes, please consult a licensed electrician for installation as the heaters utilize a 240v connection and need to be wired on their own circuit directly to your electrical panel. HUUM heaters, particularly models with WI-FI, require additional wiring of safety sensors (ex. Door Sensor) that MUST be installed by a licensed electrician. Ontario Sauna Company can only mount electrical heaters to the wall and perform rock/stone placement and are not liable for incorrect installation of electrical equipment, including lighting and any modified or customer added electrical work. We CAN provide all necessary manufacturer literature to you or your electrician in advance of assembly to help achieve the best results and installation to enjoy a safely functioning sauna for years to come!
Q: Does my sauna have a warranty? A: Yes, models constructed of Western Red Cedar are backed by a 5 year warranty. Models constructed of Eastern White Cedar are warranted for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects. Please note that like all wood, some expansion and contraction of cedar is considered acceptable and may vary depending on location, humidity and general weather conditions. Regular maintenance and adjustments (ex. Band tightening, exterior wood treating, interior cleanliness and mild water stain removal) of your sauna is not considered part of the manufactures "Leisurecraft" warranty.
Q: Can I purchase individual replacement parts for my sauna? A: Yes, if you have unexpected damage to your sauna after installation - most components can be purchased separately to repair the damage. Please contact for all inquiries regarding individual parts, any labour required to perform the repair would be an additional cost.
Q: How do I receive my sauna after purchase and what are my shipping options? A: Please contact us for shipping options. Depending on your location we have several options to get your newly purchased sauna to you. Pick up at our location (see contact info) is free and we can assist in loading your crated product onto a truck or trailer. Drop shipping anywhere in Canada (excluding remote locations and islands) is included with all sauna orders.
